Hey everyone this is the big month! My Kickstarter wraps up on March 25, and to celebrate I am running a coloring contest! February has been a jam packed and exciting month, with the Kickstarter going by in a whirlwind. I’m not a marketing expert, I’m just a mom with a big idea that is worth sharing, so running a Kickstarter is very far out of my comfort zone. When we reached my initial goal within a week I was in tears over the support I received. Now we’re working on reaching my real goal, which is to fund local printing! It’s a much bigger goal to reach, but if we reach it I will be able to cover all of my printing, shipping, and production expenses, which means I can turn my attention to producing book 3.

March features “neurodiversity celebration week” from March 21-27. To celebrate I have teamed up with some fellow neurodivergent authors for a free ebook and book giveaway! My Kickstarter wraps up this month on the 25th. To celebrate we will have a wrap up party and I will draw a winner for my colouring contest. The grand prize for the colouring contest gets sweeter with each stretch goal we meet, so stay tuned!

Highlights of the past month

Thank you so much to Lisa from the Canadian Homeschool Conference for having me again this year. The conference is my favorite online event yet, it is so interactive even in a virtual setting! I’m thankful for my all access pass because I am still watching talks from the conference.

Thank you to Newmarket library for having me for a virtual author reading. My book reading went out in the YRDSB newsletter and we had 30 classes sign up! 

This month has been a blur of interviews, kicking off with a live interview on Instagram with Maker’s Mark, another live interview with local influencer Sama With Hat, I also had an interview with children’s book author DC Sparr and to wrap up the month I had an interview with Simply Freeing Podcast.

Book update

I am finalizing a few images with my illustrator, communicating with my printer, and finishing up formatting. Stay tuned for an official release day! (tentatively set for May 07)
